The seat is already on the Kona Bear and has had the children thrilled on the single track which up till now I haven't been able to share with them. Thank you for that.

I am really impressed with how the bike is balanced with the child in the middle and not hanging off the back. I was able to climb some pretty technical windy single track in granny gear with not much more effort, surprisingly. The rock shelves stopped me but all I had to do was lock up the brakes and slide off the back of the saddle (couldn't do that with a child on the back) then push up and over the rocks.

Be prepared to do faster descents and to launch the bike into the air due to the encouragement of your thrill seeking passenger.

"The biggest kudos has to go to the designers of the product, without their input our riding would be sterilised on a hardtail with a rear mounted seat - we certainly could not ride the terrain (as in ride, not get off and push the bike over the obstacle)we do without the plush long travel."
